2007 looks like a promising year for Bosco with many of his series lined up and ready to be released! Not to mention, the finale of “Dicey Business” will air the first week after new years, so let’s hope it will perform well in the ratings as a nice way to start off 2007!

Also, since it’s Christmas, there won’t be any updates as I will be away for a couple days. Updates should resume again on December 27. You can, however, still stay up to date with news posted by other fans at the B-W Forums. =]

Sorry for updating this so late, but I’ve only coordinated this with the HK Fan Club literally 10 minutes ago, and posting this up as soon as I could!

If you didn’t already know, Bosco will be having a Birthday Gathering THIS SUNDAY. Here are the details if you wish to join as an overseas fan!! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY! (Note: these ONLY APPLY TO OVERSEAS FAN! If you’re from Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Mainland, follow their instructions!)

Date: Sunday, December 17, 2006
Location: Tsim Sa Tsui (Hong Kong)
Time: Meeting at 11:00 - 11:15 AM at Tsim Sa Tsui MTR Station P2 Exit, and everyone will head to the location together
Cost: $120 HKD

INSTRUCTIONS: If you wish to join this gathering (REGARDLESS of whether you’re an official fan club member), please send an email to fanclub@bosco-wong.com with your full name, contact number, and your membership ID (only if you’re a fan club member). Since you are an overseas fan, you CAN pay at the door, but your name MUST MUST MUST be on my list.

We have a certain number of seats reserved for overseas members, so fan club members will obviously get priority if we exceed that quota. But I do believe we have enough for everyone who would like to join!! So please email fanclub@bosco-wong.com ASAP!

Several of Bosco’s series appeared in the 4th quarter TVB Programme Highlights, including the following two new series:

It has also been confirmed that Bosco will be taking part in the filming of the 80-episode grand production next year, titled “Precious and Extraordinary” 《珠光寶氣》. Fellow confirmed cast members include Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, Ada Choi, Gigi Lai, Maggie Siu, Linda Chung, Wong Hei, Kenny Wong, David Chiang. The series will revolve around the world of diamonds and jewels, and will have a theme based on the ideas of “forever” and “everlasting”. This new series will also have scenes set in South Africa and Qingdao, China. Bosco said, “We will be going to South Africa and Qingdao for outdoor scenes. I have never been to South Africa. When we go, I can treat my work like a vacation. While I’m at it, I can also admire the beautiful landscapes over there.”

Also, if you didn’t already know, the official English title for “Casino Crisis” 《賭場風雲》 is now “Dicey Business”, which will be aired on the TVB Jade Channel at 9:30pm starting November 20th. To end this off, here’s another Dicey Business trailer featuring Bosco’s character.

It has been confirmed that Casino Crisis 《賭場風雲》 (starring Bosco Wong, Bobby Au Yeung, Jessica Hsuan, Michael Miu, and Tavia Yeung) will be aired on the 20th of next month! It will also be one of this year’s anniversary titles. Even with just a few short seconds, we can already see how great it looks. So remember to turn on your televisions because Bosco will be singing the subtheme for this series!

This year, six big magazines from Hong Kong got together to host an awards presentation called the Annual Artiste Awards 2006, and Bosco was nominated in the category of “Best Male TV Artiste”! The awards ceremony will be held on December 1, 2006. Theaward winners in each category will be selected based on reader votes and a judging panel. Reader votes account for 80% of the score while the judging panel will account for the remaining 20%!

So remember to go VOTE FOR BOSCO! Please note that ANYONE can vote. You DON’T need an HK ID to cast a ballot. All you have to do is simply register with your name and email! It’s that simple!

For those English speakers out there that cannot read Chinese, I have also prepared an English walk-through of how to cast a vote on the site. These instructions include pictures and screenshots, so they should be very easy to follow. Since there were such nice Bosco magazine scans a while back, I went into artsy mode yesterday and created three new Bosco wallpapers for all you lovely Bosco fans ^^ You can view them here.

Hope you all like it. ^^ I’d appreciate any kind of feedback, so feel free to leave a comment on the tagbooard to let me know what you think, or simply which one you liked more. It’s ’cause I’ve just been experimenting with different styles lately, so I welcome all kinds of constructive comments.

PLEASE READ: Fan Club Announcement! The HK Fan Club Committ and I have been discussing this, and we have decided to temporarily stop accepting fan club applications from overseas fans. DO NOT WORRY! This is only TEMPORARY! Members who have ALREADY paid will still receive their membership kits! We have simply decided to stop accepting members at the moment because the fan club is growing faster than we can obtain autographs. There are lots of members still waiting for their autographs, but Bosco’s schedule has just been jam packed. He is so busy right now, rushing to complete his latest series, so the Fan Club does not know when we can find time to get him to sign autographs. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily stop accepting applications until we can clear some of this backlog. Applications will open up again when Bosco becomes less busy.

As for paid members who are currently waiting for their kits, I ask for your patience. The Fan Club sincerely apologizes for this immense delay. Unfortunately, this is beyond our area of control because we cannot predict Bosco’s schedule. We will do our best to get the kits as soon as possible. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused.

This is so incredibly random, yet very very cool at the same time. Imagine yourself studying hard for an exam one day and suddenly finding a picture of Bosco printed in the guestbook. Because that is exactly happened to one of our fans’ sister! A photo of Bosco was actually printed in an English textbook in Hong Kong! Imagine that!

GUESS WHAT? B-W.COM has gotten itself a new guestbook! Actually, I wouldn’t call it ‘new’, since we never really had one before. Anyhow, I hope you will all like it. Go check it out now, and remember to leave Bosco a message or two!

Anyway, there has been plenty of updates B-W.COM the last couple of days. If you haven’t already noticed, I’ve rearranged the home page slightly. Now all the latest photos added to the gallery will automatically be displayed on the home page. In addition, I’ve also added a little media player in the side bar for those that want to jam to a little music. All of Bosco’s songs are included in the player.

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this section, so I thought I’d write something here to remove the Oriental Sunday scans off the front page. So what has Bosco been up to? TONS of stuff. If you didn’t already know, Bosco went on a 3-day trip to Malaysia recently to attend a fan gathering and a press conference for the Kim Gary Hong Kong Style Restaurant, which he is a spokesperson for. According to our spies over at Malaysia (teehee) and various news reports, the event was a huuuge success! So cheers to Bosco for being so popular even in Malaysia!

Earlier, a group of fans from the B-W Forum specifically prepared a gift to present to Bosco during his stay in Malaysia. It’s a small poster of photos and messages from fans from around the world to show our support to our favourite TVB star!

This was the basic layout where all the messages were to be laid out. It was supposed to symbolize the ‘growth’ of the overseas fan club since its humble beginnings back in March. I made it into a wallpaper if you ever feel like decorating your desktop with our poster. You can find it in the wallpaper section.

It’s nothing big, but hopefully Bosco will appreciate our little gift. We just wanted to show him that he has plenty of fans from around the world that support him!

By the way, the themesong for “Casino Crisis” 《賭場風雲》 has been recorded by Hacken Lee a few days ago! This could potentially mean that this highly anticipated series could be aired very soon! So let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
