Bosco Wong and Bernice Liu respectively clinched the Most Popular Actor and Actress respectively. Their family members were present to support them, and Bosco gave his mum a big kiss. Ron Ng won a comparatively small award, and when asked if he felt that he had “won” Ron, Bosco replied, “you can’t use the term ‘won’. We’ve all tried very hard.”
800 fans crowded to hear Ron Ng’s maiden concert on Thursday. Guest singers included Niki Chow, Jade Kwan, Bosco Wong and Bernice Liu. When Ron was asked about his romances, the crowded shouted out rumoured girlfriend’s Ella Koon’s name. However, she was not present at the concert.
Ron Ng will be holding his personal concert this coming Thursday, and yesterday, he was rehearsing together with his special guests – Bernice Liu, Bosco Wong and Jade Kwan. Ron said that that he was afraid he was becoming more and more nervous. “From now on, pressure will be building up. I’m worried that the show will lack atmosphere. I’m not good at holding a crowd’s attention with the gift of my gab, so I’ve been practicing very hard. Now, I can bring the roof down with laughter. (Will you be performing a sizzling, sexy dance?) The dances have been rehearsed. I wouldn’t say they are sizzling.”
To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, TVB is releasing red pockets with the faces of 8 of its upcoming actors. They include Ron Ng, Myolie Wu, Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma, Shirley Yeung, Bosco Wong and Bernice Liu. The 8 were selected not only because TVB hoped to publicise them, but also because they had been money-spinners for the company the last 8 years. Hence, putting them on the red packets was appropriate. Tavia said, “I hope that the new year will go smoothly, not only for the company but also for my serials!”
After Ron Ng signed with BMA Music and entered the music industry, Bosco Wong has also joined BMA. Reportedly, he has already started practicing at the music studio.
Ron has successfully forged a career in the music industry. Earlier, his first album sold well. This month, Ron will hold a mini concert, blazing the trail for young artists who are interested in the music industry.
Rumored couple Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong filmed for Liza Wang’s The Unforgettables (名 曲 滿 天 星) last night. It was the first time that Myolie and Bosco made a public appearance together after news of their rumored relationship broke (Bosco allegedly sent Myolie 600 text messages).
For the filming of episode 15 of The Unforgettables, Liza invited Myolie, Fong Yi Kei, Chan Ho Dak, Wu Mei Yi, Lui San, and Lee Lung Kei as guests. Myolie sang “Sheurng See Lui” and brought her parents, aunt, and uncle to the studio filming.
Bosco Wong, Raymond Lam, Charmaine Sheh and Sharon Chan were promoting LWOLAP yesterday. The stars came dressed in their period costumes, perched on convertibles, driving along Jordan Road, to the delight of fans. On site, Bosco fans outnumbered the rest of the fans. They were also the most enthusiastic (they came armed with drums), creating a lot of buzz, and of course, drowning out the other fans as well. Ray’s fans were the second most numerous, but poor Charmaine experienced the coldest reception yesterday, with apparently no fans on site to support her.
TVB will be airing Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion after the finale of When Rules Turn Loose this coming Thursday. The cast of Lethal Weapon of Love and Passion, including Raymond Lam, Bosco Wong and Sharon Chan, attended a premiere of the serial yesterday. However, the two female leads, Charmaine Sheh and Sonja Kwok were not present.
