TVB released photographs for their “2007 TVB Calendar” yesterday. This time, the company did not skimp on the photoshoot budget, inviting Thailand company, Image Publishing Co. Ltd, to fully supervise the project. There were about 20 people on the team, including image director, costume designer, make-up artist, hairstylist, and photographer, etc. All of them came to Hong Kong earlier to shoot the calendar photos.
Recently, there were reports that Andy Hui Chi On (許志安) was actively pursuing Myolie Wu Hang Yee (胡杏兒) as part of a promotional tactic to repair his career slump. The reports claimed that Myolie’s rumoured boyfriend, Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) confronted Andy. The two of them not only avoided each other in the studios, when reporters mentioned Andy’s name, Bosco would angrily hang up. Few nights ago, Bosco insisted that he was not fighting with Andy. He also was not angry. He said he even remembered saying bye before hanging out.
In 2003, with the high ratings of “Triumph in the Skies” 《衝上雲霄》, as one of the main characters, the popularity of Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) skyrocketed. However, endless negative press was the cost of this popularity. First came the accusation of him leeching off his girlfriend, then there were reports of him two-timing, then he was said to have went drag racing, and then he was ambushed at a nightclub.
However, no matter what the media wrote about him, through the series “War of In-Laws” 《我的野蠻奶奶》, “To Love With No Regrets” 《足秤老婆八兩夫》, “Life Made Simple” 《阿旺新傳》, Bosco was able to attract many housewives, office ladies, and female students to station themselves in from the television every night to follow his series. Bosco could care less about the negative press, and insisted on working hard to take everyone’s attention away from that. The main part of his work is not to answer to the reports, but to strive to do well in what he does.
Last year, “War of In-Laws” 《我的野蠻奶奶》, starring Liza Wang Ming Chuen (汪明荃) and Myolie Wu Hang Yee (胡杏兒) was extremely successful, so TVB had decided to invite the original cast to film a sequel next year. The tentative name is “My Sassy Daughter-In-Law” 《我的野蠻新抱》. It will be filmed in a modern setting in order to add more new elements to the series.
While filming outdoor scenes for “Soft-Centered Storm” 《溏心風暴》 a few days ago, Moses Chan Ho (陳豪) carelessly misplaced his wallet, losing several thousand dollars worth of cash. Luckily, the wallet didn’t carry his ID card or any intimate pictures, or else it would’ve been a big deal. Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤), Moses, Fala Chan (陳法拉), Tavia Yeung Yi (楊怡) and them were at Tsz Wan Shan filming outdoor scenes for “Soft-Centered Storm”. Moses expressed that he lost his wallet while they were filming at Lei King Wan the other day. He had $3000 cash, a credit and an octopus card in it. However, as an established Siu Sang with plenty of income, he didn’t appear too upset, and was thankful that he didn’t put his ID card or any intimate pictures of his friends in it. He said, “That day, I had just withdrew some money. Some of it was to pay back Bosco, but I guess not anymore! I remember before losing it, I even celebrated and said I’d treat everyone to drinks! Sigh, my generosity was not rewarded! I think I carelessly dropped it. I don’t think it was stolen. (Did you report it to the police?) Yes, I immediately cut my credit card that night, and then reported it online. It’s really convenient now. You don’t have to physically go to the police station to report a loss. (Were you upset?) A few days ago, Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤), Ella Kwun Yan Na (官恩娜) and supermodel, Amanada Stang, dressed up in pirate and royalty outfits to attend a “Chivas Magical Pirate Ship” 《芝華士魔幻海盜船》 function. For this event, Ella was clearly dressed conservatively in a “Hell’s Kitchen Goddess” outfit. On the other hand, because Amanda Stang’s skirt was frequently blown up by the ocean breeze, she appeared very distracted and was unable to answer questions posed by the MC. When the reporters went to rewatch the clips, they discovered that Bosco’s hands were often placed on Fala’s arm, touching and feeling it. However, he denied these claims on the phone last night, insisting that human contact is inevitable when playing games.
