Yesterday, Wan Laam Television hosted the Miss Zhu Jiang Beauty Pageant. After more than 3 months of waiting, the 2006 Miss Zhu Jiang Beauty Pageant Finals were held. #12, #11 and #10 was the winner, the 1st runner-up, and 2nd runner-up respectively. The winner will be participating in the 2007 Miss Chinese International competition in Fo Shan next January.
Hong Kong TVB “siu sang”, Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) was undoubtedly the brightest star of the night. After his spectacular performance at the recent TVB anniversary show, along with the current airing of “Dicey Business” 《賭場風雲》, Bosco appearance as a special guest attracted the squeals and applause of the female audience.
Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) and Natalie Tong Si Wing (唐詩詠) were thoroughly soaked when filming a romantic scene in the rain. Poor them who could only shiver, but not even share kiss in the scene! Bosco, who was already sick, didn’t even wear more clothing for protection, while Natalie was smart enough to use saran wrap and five layers of clothing to keep warm.
“The Price of Greed” 《千謊百計》 was released overseas yesterday.
After the boyfriend (Sammul Chan Kin Fung 陳鍵鋒) of “Laam Ping” 藍屏 (Kate Tsui Tsz Shan 徐子珊) went missing for a year, police officer “Lui To” 呂濤 (Bosco Wong Chung Chak 黃宗澤) discovered that he was already dead, and that the person who collected the body claimed to be “Ping”! Not long afterwards, “Fung” 風 appeared and things started getting mysterious and complicated…. “To” began to investigate this, and encountered many obstacles along the way. He was even fired from his job, but fortunately, he had his childhood friend “Yan Yuet” 殷悅 (Shirley Yeung Sze Ki 楊思琦) always by his side to encourage him. After “Ping” and “Fung”’s marriage, undesirable events continued to happen within the family. Turns out, “Mao Tai” 茅泰 (Chan Hong Lie 陳鴻烈), the leader of “The Eight Warriors of Deceit” 千門八將 had already entered the Laam family under a different identity….
Jessica Hsuan Huen (宣萱), Bobby Au Yeung Chun Wah (歐陽震華), Michael Miu Kiu Wai (苗僑偉), and Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) were at Causeway Bay yesterday promoting TVB series “Dicey Business” 《賭場風雲》. The cast participated in a poker game, where the loser was to be punished. In the end, Bosco and Eileen Yeow Ying Ying (姚瑩 瑩) were required to dance, Bobby was forced by Michael to hold playing cards, and Michael himself had to do a dance with a rose between his lips.
There is only half a month left in 2006, so it’s a good time to make a simple assessment of Bosco Wong Chung Chak’s (黃宗澤) achievements over the year. One thing he should definitely be proud of was filming 135 episodes worth of TV series this year, breaking his personal record since entering showbiz, a clear indication of being heavily promoted. What was odd and surprising rather, was his random rumour with Niki Chow Lai Ki (周麗淇), in which he was suddenly placed into a love rectangle.
However, the one that gave him most trouble was him being labelled as a pervert when some internet forum members accused him of getting touchy with Fala Chen (陳法拉) and Natalie Tong Si Wing (唐詩詠), which left Bosco unable to defend for himself.
The “sexual harassment” incident was definitely the biggest hit to Bosco this year. He frowned and let out a sigh of helplessness.
“Maybe I’m unknowingly stepping on people’s tails, or am just naturally drawn to gossip and rumours. It’s hard to determine what sort of actions constitute as ’sexual harassment’. In any case, after being wrongfully accused, it’s not like I will take revenge, so I choose not to be angry!” After saying this, his eyes lit up again, and his sorrows seemed to have disappeared.
Yesterday was Bosco Wong Chung Chak’s (黃宗澤) 26th birthday, but he didn’t celebrate, because his grandfather had passed away only a few days ago. Yesterday morning, after Bosco was finished filming “The Seventh Day” 《最美麗的第七天》, he asked the company for the night off to attend his grandfather’s funeral. Not only was he not afraid of bad luck, but he also fully displayed respect and love for his grandfather. It’s no wonder when asked whether he did anything to celebrate his birthday, he immediately shook his head and said that he didn’t make any arrangements, because his emotions are still quite shooken up.
Recently, TVB had been promoting Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤), Ron Ng Cheuk Hei (吳卓羲), Raymond Lam Fung (林峰), Kevin Cheng Ka Wing (鄭嘉穎), and Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming (馬國明), these five young rising stars. Bosco Wong - Down-to-earth, Pleasant, and Good-natured
“He is pretty down-to-earth. Reading news about his rumours with Myolie Wu Hang Yee (胡杏兒), he handled them pretty well, and was pretty good-natured, knowing how to joke about it and make people laugh. As for his acting, he wouldn’t deliberately do anything to steal the spotlight, or try too hard to suck up to the audience. He would simply try his best to do his part, and that, in my opinion, is commendable.”
Since entering the industry through the filming of a Hi-C lemon tea commercial, Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) particpated in many TVB series, like “Aqua Heroes” 《戀愛自由式》, “Find the Light” 《英雄‧刀‧少年》, and “Triumph in the Skies” 《衝上雲霄》. However, during his early years in showbiz, Bosco had a really active nightlife, hitting the bars and pubs often. This didn’t really leave everyone a very good impression of him. In July 2004, while he was in Beijing filming TVB series “Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion” 《覆雨翻雲》. he was attacked while having a late night snack with the cast, and was sent to the hospital for stitches on his face. Ever since the attack, Bosco reduced his nightlife activities. TVB also took great care of him, giving him series after series, clearly trying to promote him into being a siu sang. And Bosco was also able to eliminate his bad boy image through the series “War of In-Laws” 《我的野蠻奶奶》.
