Yau Tak (Ai Wai) and Sandy Shui Kin Yee (Sheren Tang) were a divorced couple, each raising one of their two daughters, Busy Yau Han (Bobo Chan) and Rain Yau Wing (Leila Tong) in Hong Kong and in America, respectively. The two sisters met each other again after several years, when Rain returned to Hong Kong to join a swimming league.

Elder sister, Busy, was plagued with a leg defect at a very young age, where one of her legs was permanently shorter than the other. Despite this minor disability, she still remained very optimistic and continued to put all her heart out in managing her father’s swimming business. On the other hand, younger sister Rain was willful, ambitious, and even slightly spoiled, but she was an extremely talented swimmer.

Both sisters fell in love with a wealthy boy named Edwin Tong Kei Lok (Edwin Siu). To make matters more complicated, Louis Chui Siu Lui (Bosco Wong), also has a crush on Rain, whom he met and "married" through an online dating service.

Due to his loss of interest of interest, Yau Tak’s swimming business has been deteriorating over the past several years, to a point where they were asked to shut down if they didn’t show results in open competitions soon. Busy was determined to not let his father business come to end. During that one summer, these young teenagers were brought together by a common cause, and through the swimming league’s hardships and trials, their friendship flourished…
