Fung Hang Lit (Raymond Lam) was betrayed by his wife, Kan Bing Wan (Sonija Kwok), and became a dummy for the Master of the Devil Palace, Pong Pan (Derek Kwok), to practise his martial arts. Lit later escaped and was pursued by Pong Pan. Luckily, he was rescued by a chivilrous young man, Hon Pak (Bosco Wong). They became very good friends who were willing to sacrifice for each other.

Lit set out to search for Bing Wan. Meanwhile, he met Bing Wan’s junior sister, Tsun Mung Yiu (Charmaine Sheh). They became close to each other. By chance, Lit found Bing Wan and discovered that he was a Mongolian Prince, and that Pong Pan used to be the Prime Minister of the Yuen Dynasty. Pan provoked Lit to overthrow the Ming Dynasty and to reinstate the Yuen Empire. While they were planning the rebellion, Lit also practices the "Rain-Ceasing Sword Routine".

Unfortunately, Pak is the Ming Emperor, Chu Yuen Cheung’s good friend, despite the great disparity in their age. If Lit is to restore the Yuan Dynasty, both Pak and his power "Cloud Ruling Sabre Routine" will be his biggest obstacle…
